Locations and transfer safeguards
HoundBase's active Supabase project is configured in eu-west-1 (Ireland) for its primary database, authentication and storage region. Additional provider processing, support access, logs or onward transfers depend on the provider's service configuration and contractual terms.
Vercel's current Data Processing Addendum states that its primary processing facilities are in the United States and that customer data may also be processed where Vercel or its subprocessors operate. For UK transfers covered by that DPA, Vercel incorporates the UK International Data Transfer Addendum together with the relevant Standard Contractual Clauses.
Vercel plan gate
The HoundBase Vercel team is currently on the Hobby plan during validation. Vercel's current terms restrict Hobby to personal or non-commercial use, and Vercel's current Data Processing Addendum applies to Pro and Enterprise customers. HoundBase therefore must move to an eligible paid Vercel plan before using Vercel to provide the commercial service with real customer personal data.
Changes to this list
HoundBase will keep this page current when a material new subprocessor is introduced. Where practicable, HoundBase will give affected customers at least 14 days' advance notice using their account contact details before a material new subprocessor begins processing their customer personal data.
A customer may object during that period on reasonable data-protection grounds. HoundBase will consider the objection in good faith and seek a practical resolution. If no reasonable resolution is available, either party may end the affected service before the new subprocessor is used for that customer's data.
Transactional email
No transactional-email provider is listed yet because the final provider has not been selected for the paid service. It will be added to this register before being used to process customer personal information.
