About HoundBase
HoundBase is a focused operations and records platform for dog day-care businesses and licensed home boarders.
What HoundBase does
HoundBase brings the everyday operational record into one place: dog profiles, attendance, care context, welfare notes, incidents and documents. It is designed to reduce the need to reconstruct a working day from paper, messages, spreadsheets and memory.
Who it is for
The product is being built for UK dog day-care operators and licensed home boarders. It is business software rather than a consumer pet app, and it does not replace veterinary, legal, licensing or regulatory advice.
Who operates HoundBase
HoundBase is a trading name of Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, operating as a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
The service is currently in early-access validation. Product decisions are being driven by real operator workflows and feedback rather than by adding features speculatively.
How the service is built
HoundBase uses Vercel for application hosting and Supabase for database, authentication and private file-storage infrastructure. The active Supabase project uses the Ireland region for its primary project location.
The product uses workspace-level access controls and row-level database security to separate customer records. More detail is available on the security page.
Data and legal information
HoundBase publishes the core information a business needs to review before using the service, including its privacy notice, terms and conditions, data processing agreement, subprocessor register and security information.
Early access and feedback
HoundBase is deliberately staying focused while it validates whether the product saves operators meaningful time and makes records easier to manage. Feedback from real dog-care businesses is used to prioritise fixes and improvements.
If you are evaluating HoundBase, you can inspect the product experience first and then decide whether it fits your working day.
Contact
General, support, privacy and security enquiries can currently be sent to ibzy1199@gmail.com. Messages relating to HoundBase are handled directly by the operator.
